Default Good and Evil

This will sound alot like Fable to you guys but id like if we could make it so we can become good or evil. Like each quest has an equal good and bad and you can can choose which youd like to do and with some of the things you do it decides how good or evil you are. I know its a very broken idea and sounds a ton like Fable so please put your input that can improve or disaprove my idea, thank you

I'll sign anything that potentially would make me want to do quests.

THis could be the special thing in chapter 3! O_O Like in factions you had to join a faction, now in chapter 3 you have to join good or evil! lol i doubt they would put it in tho...

opposite of 'improve' is 'disimprove'

opposite of 'disapprove' is 'approve'

Disprove is not the opposite of improve, it's the opposite of prove.

Back on topic.

Personally, I like the world being gray. It gives a lot more gritty, realistic and "dark" feeling.

-You tried to find new hope for your people, but you abandonded your homeland and severly crippled the resolve and capabilities of those that remain to fight the char.

-You try and set up a new home, a place to call your own, but first you have to take out all those pesky "indigenous" types.

-You become a member of a zealous cult that rounds up all those with "true" potential, to slaughter them in cold blood in an attempt to stave off a "worse" threat.

-You turn on your cult, killing them to the last man, because you believe what they are doing is wrong. Only to learn, that they were in fact safe guarding a very destructive force from unleashing itself upon the world. Oh, and you also whiped out an entire Race (Murssat).

-You attempt to contain the horrors you've unleashed. Only which you accomplish through more killing. In the end, you destroy an entire ecosystem to save the world.

-Afterwords, you kick back and quickly take sides between a battle of dwaves without really trying to understand why they are at war. You spend your days entering their stronghold and killing them for their trinkets.

-If you should so choose, you attempt to stop the horrific creatures released upon the world. Now, maybe you didn't get to them right away, cause you wanted to stock up on your private stash by viciously killing wild creatures.

-And after all the mess you've made, all the power you could use to make Tyria a better place... you hop on a boat to another continent and start the ball rolling all over again.

I like my grey. No "true" evil, no "true" good. Ony intentions, and actions.

Awesome reading skills there, buddy.

I said 'disimprove', not 'disprove'.

Thanks for playing, really. If they had a cookie emote, I'd give it to you.

I was responding to Terra Xin's question, and then addressing to OP's subject. But if you want me to talk to you too, I'm sure I can find something to say.

Ah, here we go, I figured out something to say. In fact I did over look the "a" after Terra Xin's "dis[a]prove." So, I can see how you were confused, thinking I was attacking(?) you.

Back on topic, this whole good/evil thing wouldn't be worthwhile unless there were certain rewards for becoming evil or becoming good.

Exclusive quests with exclusive rewards would be nice. It would be a nice way to introduce PvE only items that other people have been pining for in other threads around the Sanitarium and Riverside.

Another reward they might add: exclusive areas and missions based on your alignment. You an evil character? Well, you aren't welcome at the church, but you can get yourself into the thieves den for some gambling. Just like they made Gyala Hatchery and Eternal Grove exclusive to those characters who proved themselves to one faction or the other, they could do the same for Good and Evil characters.

So, I'll sign this idea as long as the whole Good/Evil thing isn't about being able to say, "Look at me, I'm evil/good."

Certianly sort the Wheat from n00bs the so to speak, they always go for evil - I myself prefer good, but evil is the easy choice so they can run about shouting - I am the dark master!

Edited to not make noobs look so good, originally said n00bs from the chaf
